Everything else is auto-computed:

• Total Calories In Storage SUM of every batch on the Food tab
• Total Days Of Food Calories ÷ Daily burn (your survivability number)
• Expiring Within 6 Months COUNTIFS + EDATE against TODAY()
• Already Expired Red alert when batches pass their date
• Storage By Category totals Grains · Canned Goods · Freeze-Dried · Other
• Overall Status banner Green "all clear" / amber "rotate soon" / red "expired"

Sample stock ships with the file: 4 people × 2,200 cal/day = 92,736 total
calories = 10.5 days of food. Edit the two yellow cells and every KPI
recalculates the instant you save.

✦ TAB 2 — FOOD SUPPLY & BATCH TRACKER ✦

Eight columns: Item Name, Category (dropdown: Grains / Canned Goods / Freeze-Dried
/ Other), Batch/Lot #, Date Added, Expiration Date, Calories per Unit, Quantity,
and Total Calories — auto-computed as calories × quantity per row.

EXPIRY HIGHLIGHTS — conditional formatting installed out of the box:

• Red → batches already past their expiration date
• Amber → batches expiring within the next 6 months
• Blank → no stray highlights on empty rows (built-in blank-date guard)

Works as an APPEND-ONLY LOG. Bought 10 new cans of beans today? Add ONE new row
below the existing ones with its own lot number and date. Column H calculates
itself and the Dashboard updates immediately. Older batches are never disturbed
because totals use SUM / SUMIFS / COUNTIFS that read the whole column — so you
never accidentally break historical data.
